Update: CalPreps.com Returns After Settlement with CBS/MaxPreps

In a positive turn of events, CalPreps and CBS/MaxPreps have resolved their contractual dispute, allowing the popular high school sports data platform to resume operations. After a brief but impactful shutdown, CalPreps.com is now back online, once again providing the essential rankings and data relied upon by teams, fans, and sports organizations, including the CIF San Diego Section.

This resolution brings relief to the high school sports community, which was left scrambling for alternatives during CalPreps’ temporary absence. The quick settlement ensures that playoff preparations and regular season data will proceed as planned, without further disruption.

Lesson Learned: Don’t take anything—or anyone—for granted. We appreciate the platforms, resources, and hard-working individuals who make it possible for us to create content and stay informed.
