Madison wins Division I title after 28-0 second half rally
The St. Augustine Saints (10-3) looked to be in control with a 31-7 lead at the half, but the final two quarters were dominated by the Madison Warhawks (11-2), who went on a 28-0 run to seal a 35-31 victory and its third CIF San Diego Section title in school history.
Burmeister's five touchdowns lead Torreys to Division IV title
San Diego Section career passing leader Braxton Burmeister threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns, and added 102 yards and a score on the ground to help the La Jolla Country Day Torreys (11-3) defeat the Santana Sultans (8-5) 38-24.
