Also putting up big numbers was senior receiver Reggie Bell who recorded five catches for 107 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore quarterback Keith Williams completed 15 of 25 passes for 217 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.
On the other side of the ball, sophomore cornerback Jamal Agnew was all over the field, breaking up three passes and making five solo tackles. Linebacker Una Hamala led all Torero defenders with 8 total tackles, and senior safety Matt Miller recorded his first interception of the season in the third quarter.
Morehead State quarterback Austin Gahafer accounted for all of his team's touchdowns as a passer, runner, and receiver.
Unfortunately the Torero didn't receive any help in their hunt for the Pioneer Football League's automatic playoff bid. Dayton dropped their second PFL game in a 34-30 loss to Drake, while Jacksonville rolled to a 56-0 win over Davidson to regain the tiebreaker advantage.
Next Saturday, the Toreros return home to take on Valparaiso in their final league game of the season. A win would clinch at least a share of the PFL title. If Jacksonville falls to Campbell, the Toreros will win the title outright and receive an automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs.
