This Saturday, the San Diego Surge, North County Stars, and San Diego Enforcers will be involved in games with implications that are critical to their championship hopes.
San Diego Enforcers (4-1) at Roanoke Rampage (2-2)
William Fleming High School (Roanoke, VA) 12:00 p.m. PT
After leaving Los Angeles with a 22-16 win over the LAPD Centurions, the Enforcers are now a win away from hosting the NPSFL National Championship against the NYPD Finest on June 21st. It would be their second time hosting the game since 2012, but first they must survive a road trip to Virginia. Cheering on the Rampage will be the Chicago Enforcers, who earns the bid if San Diego fails to pick up the victory.
Impact Enforcer: RB Jahir Waterman
North County Stars (2-2) vs. Phoenix Phantomz (4-1)
Calvin Christian High School (Escondido, CA) 3:00 p.m. PT
San Diego Surge (7-0) at Central Cal War Angels (4-1)
Golden West High School (Visalia, CA) 7:00 p.m. PT
Three weeks after a 64-0 win over the War Angels, the Surge will attempt to break the 1-1 tie in the all-time series when they travel north for the rematch. A win for the Surge will guarantee them home-field advantage throughout the WFA playoffs.
Impact Surge: CB Ashley Moody
