The University of San Diego Toreros (1-1) held off a late fourth quarter rally from the Western New Mexico Mustangs (0-1) to win their home opener this weekend. It was also Dale Lindsey's first win as a head coach.
The Toreros will get a bye next week then host the Ivy League's Harvard Crimson on September 21st. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. pacific time.
