Colin Lockett returned the opening kickoff 103 yards for a touchdown to give the Aztecs an early 7-0 lead.
Dwayne Garrett blocked a punt attempt from Boise State's 25-yard line and the Aztecs recovered it on the Bronco's 8. That set up a three-yard touchdown run by Adam Muema to put the Aztecs up 14-13 with 9:41 left in the third quarter.
Adam Muema breaks a 43-yard run on 3rd and 1 to keep the Aztecs' drive alive and bring the game into the fourth quarter. Walter Kazee took the next four carries and finished the drive with a goal line touchdown on 4th and 1. That gave the Aztecs a 21-13 lead with 12:20 left in the game.
After Boise State scores off a one-yard touchdown pass, their two-point conversion attempt is intercepted by defensive back Rene Siluano to keep the Aztecs lead at 21-19 with 5:35 left in the game.
On 4th and 2 with the ball on Boise State's 35, Adam Muema rushes for 13 yards and the first down with 1:55 left in the game. After the play was dead, fullback Chad Young drew a 15-yard flag with a late hit. It wouldn't matter as the Aztecs ran out the clock and locked up a huge win.

The Aztecs will play their final home game of the season in a big conference showdown with the Air Force Falcons (5-4, 4-1). Kickoff is schedule for 12:30 p.m. pacific time. The Falcons are coming off a 41-21 defeat at the hands of Army (2-7). A team the Aztecs defeated 42-7 back in September 8th.
